Titles? Are you suggesting the organization necessarily be an authoritarian hierarchy? Tell me, what exactly does a priest or bishop of atheism...do?
Like all organizations, he will do the bidding of the larger assembly. He is just a talking head.
If Haigt is correct, he will administer the sacrifices given according to the will of the group.
He would likely be more of an administrator of policy and not the creator of them.

That's not entirely accurate.

What is good for one is not necessarily good for the rest of the group.

I take something that I want from another, it now belongs to me and that is good. The group does not gain from this act or thing, as such it is indifferent, or perhaps the act is even bad for the many, but still good for me.

The people closely associated with the namesake of female canines are suffering from a nondescript form of lunacy.

If you are in a group of those who think it is good to take from another then all the goods will eventually make the rounds and all you have done is maintained the status quo of the group. This is good for the group as well as yourself.

RE: Atheist Church of the evolving Human God.
Even if the theoretical group I am in encourages theft, if I do take something I want from another, the does not mean that since my having the thing is good for me, it is good for the group by proxy, at best the act is neutral (it does not affect the group at large).

In fact I could take something valuable or needed and create discontent within the group, making it negative.

Besides, if I took it because i wanted it, I would not let it be taken without a fight.

Yes. Gnosis/knowledge and truth are paramount.

Then neither would the one you took it from and if he could not prevent it then all things being equal, neither can you.
I suggest finding a moral group but you would have to change your immoral ways.

Interesting. Your world view seems rather narrow and simplistic. What exactly do you do for a living?

A simple world view is easier to understand and express to others if we KIS.
And yes. I try to walk the narrow path.
