Atheist billboard replaced near Lincoln tunnel.
they took down the "you know its a myth" billboard and replaced it with a pro myth one stating "god is..." , its their money, we still do have free speech (at least til palin gets elected) so good for them and their imaginary friend, but what i find most interesting is the number of comments to the CNN article and their content, it gives one hope. have a peek for yourself.

RE: Atheist billboard replaced near Lincoln tunnel.
I wanted to find some actual citation for this post but got lazy. This is the best I could find but is from 2009.
http://articles.cnn.com/2009-03-09/livin...=PM:LIVING Anyway, the comments from the artcle were tl;dr, but it got me thinking. I know I've heard that as a whole, Americans are becoming less religious. Those who are might be getting louder about it, but it's encouraging that we may be moving in the right direction. I did find this however: http://www.slate.com/id/2278923/ Essentially, Americans aren't telling the whole truth about how adherent they really are to their religion. They say they go to church-but they really don't. They just want other people to think they do. My reason for being is to serve as a cat cushion. That is good enough for me. ![]() |
