RE: Atheist community?
Hell yeah, If we do it tomorrow evening, we could merge it with the heathen Easter drinking picture thing that Leela proposed in the other thread.

RE: Atheist community?
We have a local atheist meetup.com group I've been considering going to. I was looking on it and surprisingly a coworker I know goes to it.

Why not start your own? Meet up, do bbq, go to events, have talks on atheism and religion, a sense of community is a good thing. You don't have to feel alone!

Logisch, yeah, we have already had a very pleasant first meeting a couple of weeks ago. Now we're looking for an excuse to do it again and have some more of that fun.

RE: Atheist community?
I am starting to form a plan for a summer event.
I thought one of the august weekends.
So it would be a two day event.
So this is meant as kind of a Europe atheist meeting thing. Small scale of course.
right now I only have some vague ideas.
Apart from sightseeing for those who haven't been to Dublin, yet, I thought about two discussion rounds (one each day), a barbecue on one of the evenings, maybe we find someone for a lecture or speech, but for a lecture/speech we need someone cool. If you know a particular topic or person who would do it for free and for the fun of it, please let me know.

Good Idea? opinions? ideas?

Worst
