If half saw Vishnu, would you drop the Jeebus myth?

I guess I'm just fearing the worst possible case. I was raised Christian but now I have my doubts about particular aspects of it. Still, I worry about hell because I have been brainwashed. I have seen one too many "conversion" videos on youtube looking at the likes of Howard Storm and others on the Near-Death experience website. Now I am just worrying.

50% of atheists saw Jesus
50% of atheists experienced a feeling of fear
and 50% reported experiencing or seeing hell.

Many people would probably say that the reason for this is that these atheists could have grown up in Christian communities where hell was talked about. However, there are also people who claim that most NDEs are positive as a result of chemicals released in the brain. Why exactly is it then, that hell is experienced at all if the endorphins in the brain are supposed to make one feel good?

Reports of NDE's fill me with as much curiosity and concern as dreams and hallucinations. Except that I'm far more skeptical of NDE's.

Man got to sit and wonder 'why, why, why?'
Tiger got to sleep, bird got to land;
Man got to tell himself he understand.”

Yeah, even if Those numbers were true, two things.

1. Them beings atheists mean nothing.

2. Anecdote is still not evidence.

The same name shows up in other unsubstantiated NDE stories that are otherwise completely different, and elements of this NDE story show up in other stories about completely different people.

In other words it's probably fiction.

How convenient that your numbers came out to an exact 150%.

I've had some very fucked up dreams that I thought were 100% real at the time. I imagine being almost dead would cause you to have some very vivid dreams as well.

Not impressed in the slightest. I guess this Howard Stern fellow is more easily impressed.

No one is "dead for days" and wakes up. You're either dead or you're not dead.
Period. The end. No one wakes up in a morgue 3 days later. Once in a rare while, a ptient may have a long period of apnea, or asystole. NEVER for 3 days. Your brain starts to die in 3 minutes of no oxygen.

Insufferable know-it-all.Einstein God has a plan for us. Please stop screwing it up with your prayers.
