Atheists in Dublin for Religion Censure

The convention will be held in the O’Callaghan Alexander Hotel, located in central Dublin.

CAIRO – Amid reports about its growing atheist population, the Irish capital is hosting this weekend the world's first atheist convention, raising questions on the constitution of Europe’s most religious nation.

“Twenty years ago the atheist campaign would have been around trying to change public opinion,” Michael Nugent, the chairman of Atheist Ireland, told the Irish Times on Saturday, June 4. (Full Article)
