RE: Atheists who work out
I've started going to the gym twice a week for an hour. All I do is walk on the treadmil while watching a movie. I'm not pudgy but I'm not skinny either. Not in a hurry to shave the pounds, but I do want to be more active and fit.

A yoga story with pictures Smile

Already to do yoga at my house today…

But this is who was on my mat:

So I moved my cat, Mojo, and gave him a snack. And when I came back, this happened:

Then when I finally got my dog, Bo off my yoga mat and thought I could finally do some yoga--All chaos broke loose Hobo

I think I'm going to have to get each one of them their own yoga mats Hobo

Judging by my past failures with getting pets their own beds, I think they'll still use your yoga mat instead of their own.

Is that your fat cat that has lost some weight or is this a different cat? And christ, am I looking down on three dogs in your photo? <- didja notice the little downward dog joke there? Laugh out load

How much money does it cost to feed those critters?

Today was an arm, shoulder, and core workout for 2 hours: scraping and sanding porch railings.

I like doing yard work for exercise. It does two things, it accomplishes something that needs to get done and at the same time burns calories and builds muscle. I'm still working on putting some bricks in where the strip of grass was between the sidewalk and street. We call it the causeway around these parts. I started this project in September. All I need is a 2 hour period of time where it's not raining or blowing wind to place about 20 more bricks in. I have a layer of gravel then a layer of sand all leveled out ready for the bricks.

I'm looking forward to not mowing that dumb strip of grass. (I have a push mower.) I won't have to water it either.

Dances, my reply to you got all screwy for some reason, so I'm retyping it (must be demons screwing around with my computer again Hobo )

Yes, that's Mojo in the pic Tongue My vet put him on a serious diet of weight control food and only greenies for snacks. Mojo is not happy about it, which is why I think he scratched my other yoga mat to smithereens!

There are 3 dogs in the pic--all rescues. It costs a fair amount to feed them since they are so big. But I usually give them dry food with an occasional wet food can as a treat and I buy in bulk which saves money.
