RE: Atheists who work out
Went 5 miles for a run today and it was really good, and then did some middle back exercises with CF, arms and shoulders too. Smile

I thin CF gets bad feedback because people don't look into it enough, and end up injured. Find a good class, with a reputable instructor or at least have a lifting foundation. I think if you've never lifted weights before, you'll struggle and get injured.

Gone into full "diet mode":

Soda's are done, switching to ice water only. And going Low-Calorie/high-Protein for my meals. Will be doing this along with some running, exercise bike riding and basic body weight training (Push-ups, sit-ups, squats). After a few weeks I'll get back on my yoga regime and eventually start hitting the weights again.

Nice, oaktree Smile
I did hot yoga last night and this morning, did a few presses last night. going to yoga again tonight. I am just down for the yoga now, truly commited.
My mat was too soft and I was having a heck of a time with balance.
I am ordering a harder mat, yoga towel with grippys, and a couple of blocks to help me get to my goals. I stay in the room for an additional 20 minutes after class and work on my stretches. I have 50 years of terrible flexibility to overcome. it ain't pretty.

RE: Atheists who work out
I used to work out 6 days a week.
Weights, running, stair climbers on an on.
A word of caution.
Remember that your body is a perishable resource.
Everything leaves a mark.
Not now but later.
Big thing with me was that I was a baseball pitcher for years.
Today I have a bad right knee, "cupping" on one of my vertebrae (right side), damage to my left shoulder and nerve damage and bone spurs in my left elbow.
It's like drawing a line from the foot I landed on straight up through my body and into my throwing arm (left handed)
Oh and also my neck is pretty fkt.
Repetitive motion damage catches you very slowly.
It's a balancing act. Cost benefit.

That's great! I love it, too. I look forward to reading about your workouts. Yes

Hi everyone, hope you guys are doing great. I've been not feeling so great the past few days, hoping it passes. I'm better today, but that caused me to not workout for most of this week. Sadcryface
