Yes, he works in a hospital. But another hospital chain has recalled the ones they gave away.

Think I'm back to the box and pinhole.

#14 Welder's shields, available from Lowe's, Home dePot, etc.

Home depot sold out a week ago (I looked last time I was there).

RE: August Eclipse
It would be neat go get in a fast jet and fly across the country and keep up with the eclipse the whole way. Don't know if something like this is possible though. Fun to think about.

We're going over to the Oregon coast to stay at a beach house and then go inland a few miles to watch the eclipse. I really need this diversion given the state of affairs in this country this past week. It will be so nice not to think about ....what's his name. Consider

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

We're going to leave around 4 in the morning this Sunday. My husband wants to bring some sort of small port-a-potty in case we get stuck in traffic. I said I'd rather find a bush on the side of the road, thank you very much. Rolleyes

Anyway, it's kinda of a shared experience that could unite most of the country for one short day. I like that.

Annnnnd the next day it will back to -----> Hobo Argue Frusty

I know, I think it's going to be fun. I'm personally not leaving the house, and we have some projects to do -- I've already mapped where the sun will be so I know we can see it from our deck.

Or, maybe i'll sleep through it. Big Grin

RE: August Eclipse
We're only getting a partial here but it should be fairly substantial according to Google.

RE: August Eclipse
I'll be in Carbondale. Got a com link of sorts: Finally broke down and set up a Twitter account. Will be tweeting with handle AstrejaK and hashtag #Saros145FTW.

I'm sorry, but your beliefs are much too silly to take seriously. Got anything else we can discuss?
