I am unable to participate having only attended school for about 3 years.

NOTE: Member, Tomasia uses this site to slander other individuals. He then later proclaims it a joke, but not in public.
I will call him a liar and a dog here and now.

So getting 8/8 makes me as smart as a 12-year-old Aussie?

Big Grin

So proud of myself.

Once you learn that process, the solution to problems like that one are pretty straightforward. [...]

I agree in principle, but the preface did say "No study, internet or calculator (should be) needed". What you're suggesting does require at least a middling-level knowledge of maths fundamentals. Which—probably—most of us don't have?

I scored 8 but was looking for trick questions so took it slow. I didn't bother with the geometry in this question. I just took it as a number sequence where the number increased by three more each time: 1, 1+3, 1+3+6, etc. I would have needed paper to figure out the general answer, or even to be actually sure of my result Smile

Give me your argument in the form of a published paper, and then we can start to talk.

Well... fek me.

I guessed my way through the lot of them and only got one wrong which was not one of the math problems.

Glad I didn't have to do such rubbish when I were a wee todger back in the day. Tongue

8/8

However, I think some are debatable. I just happen to agree with whoever wrote the test.
