BBC report on Boko Haram in Nigeria

It`s weird that West kept ignoring this situation for so long, because there is a shitload of oil there.

I guess the utterly broken, corrupt and crooked government simply did it`s best in the past years denying the problem to the world and itself.

And now it finds itself in a shithole it cant save itself from.

The Nigerian government is known for it`s corruption, torture, exploitation of the poor and other horrible things. So in a way it would be actualy a good thing if it were replaced with another government. But instead it is quite possible that it might get replaced through a group so horrible that even al quaida condems it.

Where are the drones?
Send in the drones.

RE: BBC report on Boko Haram in Nigeria
Has anyone considered that living in a shithole makes people act succesively more inhuman?

Wealth disparity is so bad in Nigeria that finding recruits for extremism is like finding hay in a haystack.

Also, Boko Haram has been brutally murdering school boys, yet the outrage is over their not-so-new school girl abductions. It's like the sleeping giant was totally ignorant of the Nigerian hellhole then suddenly became hyper obssesive on one type class of events.

The lack of outrage across the whole spectrum of issues is outrageous in itself.

Bombing them and doing nothing else will not solve the issue.

Nigeria must be pressured into solving their stagnant and wacky economy.

Do the above and drone some Boko Haram ideologues? Sounds good to me.

News said the other day that the Nigerian government had made a deal with Fuckoka Cuntram and the girls were being released or something.

RE: BBC report on Boko Haram in Nigeria
What they meant to say is that JTF2 has been rooting out Boko Haram for quite some time now and, now running out of places to hide, they have been all but forced into a cease fire. But I guess the world would rather believe that nutcases like those in Boko Haram can be reasoned with without the threat of violence used as leverage, even by nations they like to perceive as non-aggressive like Canada, so most of the articles on the story seem to be leaving out that somewhat important minor detail.

So yes the west has been fighting them, yes Canada has been heavily involved, and yes the soldiers there have been wearing boots that are in fact on the ground.

If I was hiding in the jungles of Africa and I was being ruthlessly hunted down by polar bear riding lumberjacks, I'd be aboot wanting a ceasefire too.

Just sayin'
