Baby Names
Hello, my name is Bailee. I am expecting a baby boy on December 28th Big Grin
As you can imagine I am very excited! And my boyfriend and I have some names we really like. Some of them are traditional and others very strange and unique. But if you could, help us deside Smile Thanks.

My Boyfriends last name is Eastburn so you can put that after the names to see which flows better.

1. Kurtis Michael (Kurt): Named after Kurt Cobain and I just like the name.
2. Henry David: I just enjoy the name Henry
3. Declan Ray: A beautiful and manly Irish name
4. Indio James (Dio,Indy): I stole this from Robert Downey Jr. He named his son Indio and I like it very much.
5. Jack Henry: Named after Jack White of the White Stripes (My Idol)
6. Augustus Ryan (Gus,August): I love this name!
7.Charles Chaplin or Charles Darwin (Charlie): I love the name Charlie and am a fan of Chaplin and of course Darwin. Smile
8.Zeppelin Spencer: (Zepp): You can probably guess why I like this name Wink

Please Share your ideas! Feel free to mix the names around or give me other Ideas... Thank you so very much.

Jesus don't want me for a sunbeam.

RE: Baby Names
Congratulations!

I just had my second kid and we're done. NO MORE! Kids are rough.

Anyway, about the names... can't say I'm a real fan of any. Sorry : /

I ended up naming my kids Cohen Jeremy and Chloe Joy... no too weird, but not too common. Also, they both have names that won't get them bullied or made fun of. That's something important to remember as well.

So, are you going to be fortunate enough to get to be a stay at home mom? Daycare is abnormally expensive... it's frustrating -_-

Hahaha! I am a HUGE fan of Charles Darwin, so I pick Charlie!

Plus, I like the way the tongue just rolls in the name!

Keep us posted on the baby situation, we just can't stop eating Loving them!Thumbsup

Always wanted a kid, but I feel like that would be too much of a bad father to one, and I want to spare the kid the constant pardons and insults that are inevitably going to come his way ( I was going to name my future boy Light, and if I had a girl: Misa.)

RE: Baby Names
Congrats on the baby.

Interesting mix of classic names and trendy names. Seems that your preference is for classic since they outnumber the others. Having an unusual name can be a pain...no one can spell them and you often have to repeat them over and over especially on the phone, I know from experience...it gets to be old after the zillionth time your name is mispronounced or some important paper like your diploma is spelled incorrectly.

I like Led Zeppelin a lot and have for years...but do you really want to name your child after a blimp-like flying machine?

Also, using another persons full name (Charlie Chaplin...Charles Darwin) in your child's name seems a bit pretentious unless it's a grandparent or other family name.

Remember, you may think a name is cool but the kid has to live with it, and that's sometimes not so cool for the kid.

Charles and Henry are in your list a couple times. What about Charles Henry or Henry Charles? It's also tough to pre-nickname...nicknames have a habit of just happening. Charles Henry Eastburn sounds good together, as does Charlie Eastburn.

I'm not anti-social. I'm pro-solitude. Sleepy

Name him Helsing.

No matter where he goes; no matter what he does; it'll be total awesomeness the rest of his life.

I like Bob, 'cause Bob backwards is boB. Big Grin

As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
And I will show you something different from either
Your shadow at morning striding behind you
Or your shadow at evening rising to meet you;
I will show you fear in a handful of dust.
