In this neighborhood, shit goes boom on a regular basis.

Daily small arms fire as well.

Ya gotta love it.

I guess I'm not the only one in town with a stash of leftover 4th of July fireworks. Last Saturday night someone down in the valley set off a 20-shot multitube that lasted for about 30 seconds. It was LOUD. Thumbsup

Somebody lit off 50 rounds here this morning.

Me.

I use a 12 gauge and 8 shot ( very fine balls of lead with a very limited range) to clear my lines of fire from my hunting blind. Branches grow out each year, obstructing my view.

It's a whole lot quicker than hauling out a ladder and chainsaw.

Safer, too.

That's fine for the low stuff, although the chainsaw is quicker. But for stuff 30 feet up?? Not so much.

Wow! Someone down in the valley set off a LONG string of firecrackers this evening. It lasted for nearly five minutes and ended with a big BANG! Thumbsup

It's time once again for weekly fireworks at the local Transfer Station. Last Wednesday evening I set of a 16-shot Afterburner by Boomer. It featured red, yellow and green dahlias with crackles and LOUD reports. Dynamite! I've already put it on my want list for next year. Smile

This evening's multitube firework was Pyro Magic by World Class Fireworks; multiple crackling golden gerbs followed by a dozen red, white and gold palm shells with LOUD reports. This one will definitely go on next spring's shopping list. Thumbsup

It makes me piss myself with laughter that some states forbid the sale of fireworks but yet you can walk out of a gun store with a kickass shotgun or rifle with few or no checks. Rolleyes
