Bacon: Chewy or Crunchy?
There can be only one. One bacon to rule them all?

Which one is it?

I prefer 'crispy' bacon, but I suppose 'crunchy' will suffice.

Crispy-crunchy, except when it's wrapped around perfectly steamed asparagus stalks, topped or dipped in a gourmet sauce. Yum.

I can't think of a food choice where I would rage chewy over crunchy. As long as crunchy isn't due to staleness.

Oh for the love.....

Always buy thick cut. You get crispy in the middle and chewy on the ends. Do you even bacon? Facepalm

But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

No, you chewy that bitch up all over. That's real bacon; all fat, no crisp

Okay, we'll have to agree to disagree. Even though I'm not actually disagreeing with you, but i do like some crisp here and there. It's a texture thing, and one size doesn't fit all. What's awesome is that I'm cooking bacon as i type this post. Usually I'll do some more crispy than others because there are differing opinions in my family.
