RE: Bacon: Chewy or Crunchy?
I don't eat meat that often but when I do have bacon I want it crunchy please, actually it should be crumbled, put it on a salad, or pizza, or more bacon.

At work.

On a hamburger or such?

Definately 'Chewy'

On its own or/and with toast and mushrooms?

Charcoal crunchy!

Bacon is done when it becomes brittle - and dropping it on a plate causes it to break....

If it bounces when dropped -- it needs to cook some more................

.......

And the best way to cook bacon is in the oven..................

Crunchy bacon is for people who don't actually like bacon.
Kinda like flavored coffee is for people who don't actually like coffee.

Crunchy bacon is for people who LOVE bacon - and are patient enough to wait for it to finish cooking...

I absolutely hate crunchy bacon. It is like biting on greasy fingernails. I like soft bacon, even boiled bacon.

The only way I eat bacon. I would say crunchy, but made soft by moisture from the jalapenos, cheese, cottage cheese.

On the contrary, soft bacon is for people who really want ham. The crunch is what gives bacon its distinctiveness.
