Batman V Superman
Should have been called Justice League: The Awkward first date.

The movie was a fucking mess. Batman was pretty badass though (Think Dark Night Returns). Any thoughts?

RE: Batman V Superman
It's not bad.

A movie to buy the 'Blue Ray' of... watch once and go "Yeah, that's all cool." before placing back on the shelf.

While not a waste of the theater entry fee? Certainly not something you can sit through twice and still be entertained. (Since I have and wasn't)

Unlike, say, 'Deadpool'. Which is still entertaining after multiple viewings.

Basically Bat's Vs Supes could do with most of the slow motion scenes sped back up to normal pace. Some more editing. Lose about another half hour of screen time and it'll be great.

I feel like we got to watch the 'Director's cut'.... Which while nice... we didn't need to see...

I have not seen this one yet, I've been on the fence about it. I love the Batman franchise, but the previews looked meh. It kind of reminded me of a Freddy vs, Jason scenario and I just wasn't feeling it. But might end up watching it when it comes out on dvd, unless there were some completely stellar reviews.

RE: Batman V Superman
The more I think about it the less I like it. There was no plot there were no characters and nothing really had any effect on anything else. Batman was not Batman (but at least he was entertaining much like the 1989 Keaton Batman) and was one of the few bright spots in this dreary gray self indugent mess. Don't waste money on this heaping pile. If you really want to see it wait for DVD.

2.5/10

Spent too much time on dreams and other random shit. The fight lasted only like five minutes. Talk about a one-pump chump.

Moviecrypt.com says:

"The entire plot is one convenience on top of another, empty seeds for a future back story that’s probably unwritten. There’s not one surprise or twist even a casual comic book reader won’t see coming from a mile away. Batman’s motivation for fighting Superman—that thing in the title—falls apart long before the first punch is thrown ("Well, I made all these weapons; I’d hate for them to go to waste…") and even Lex can’t come up with a good reason why these heroes should be at odds.

Less discerning audiences will get their money’s worth: forgettable technobabble reasons for action and effects to exist. For folks who need a plot to justify their cinematic superhero porn, it feels like a bullet-pointed outline that never grew much beyond a first draft—or perhaps, in typical big-budget fashion, producers ran out of time to get it all done, went with what they had, and crossed their fingers."

The Tomatometer gives it 29%. That's enough for me give it a miss.

I gave it a pass, mainly because the reviewers that my tastes align with really panned it.

Good, now I don't have to watch it.

Would rather wait for it to come out on demand or something. Mean time want to see a good movie, go see Zootopia.
