Baton Rouge Metro Area Flooding
This came out of nowhere. Places that have never flooded before are under water. The metro area has been through Andrew, Katrina, Gustav, Rita, etc. and has never seen this caliber of water.

Rivers are at record highs and we're still supposed to get 20 to 30 more inches.

Many of the people I know have lost their houses to flooding. Right now the water is creeping closer and closer. The water in my back yard is around 9-10 feet deep and slowly coming up the incline.

When the rivers crest (as I live next to the Amite) I fear we're probably going to be flooded.

The worst part is that we are trapped and can't evacuate because all the roads and bridges are under water.

Yay for Louisiana.

Stay safe.

We just had a surprise storm out of nowhere that is dumping a ton of rain and it doesn't look like it plans to end any time soon.

I am on hail watch. Sadcryface

Holy shit that's scary. Maybe pack some emergency bags and hope for the best. If there's no way out on the ground, and you don't have a boat, make sure you can get on the roof if need be.

Get to high ground. Be safe, KC.

Don't let those gnomes and their illusions get you down. They're just gnomes and illusions.

Did you say 9-10 FEET? Not inches?

Damn!

Be safe! That sounds...just insane.

Need to think of a witty signature.
