RE: Baton Rouge Metro Area Flooding
Just basically swam back to my house and salvaged what I could. Water is neck deep in my house. It's a total loss. We lost everything. Gone.

All we have are a few wet clothes, our kids, our phones, our dogs, and our cars.

The river still has a lot to rise too. Won't be surprised if the water reaches the attic.

Be careful swimming in that flood water. It could have all sorts of nasty shit in it that can make you sick.

Oh wow. I'm sooooo sorry. Is there anything we can do for you? I'm so upset for you.

Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

I appreciate the offer but I'm not sure what can be done. We're at a church right now waiting to be helicoptered out.

Please keep us informed and let us know how we can help. I can't imagine what you're going through. Glad you got your wife, kids and dogs out.

Where are they taking you?

We're safe at my in-laws. Besides about 100 ant stings, I'm ok.
