Battlestation and Gaming Rig
This is what I put together. My PC is on the right, my wife's PC is on the left. Right screen is a 55" Samsung 3DTV. Left one is a 47" LG HDTV. Speaker box came right out of my old car.

Here's the gaming rig I built. I actually went with a different power supply, a modular model, so the wiring is a bit tidier now.

Specs:
Intel Core i7 3770K Overclocked to 4.8GHz w/ Corsair H100 Water cooler
32GBs Mushkin Enhanced RAM
ASUS Sabertooth z77 Motherboard
2X nVidia Geforce GTX 680's
2X Intel 520 Cherryville Series 180GB SSD's
1TB Samsung Spinpoint HDD
2TB WD Caviar Black HDD
Antec 1200 case
Not pictured is the new OCZ 1000w Power Supply. The one there was a Xion 1250w PSU, but it didn't meet the minimum requirement for 12v rail amperage for these video cards. The OCZ one does.

God didn't do any of this. I did. Angel

RE: Battlestation and Gaming Rig
I get decent temps with that Corsair unit. Usually 76C or so at 4.8GHz. I can't get a stable clock at 5.0GHz though. I'm a little too timid about pushing vCore voltage past 1.40 and really, an extra .2 isn't worth the extra wear and tear. I get really good performance on everything I throw at it, even in full 3D. That screen is active shutter too, so it looks more vivid that those 3DTV's you'd see at Best Buy and Wal Mart. Not many active shutter units in that price range.

The reason why so much RAM is I do a ton of virtualization, and I often have a whole domain with member servers running on this box to simulate things I want to do at work. I can put up a good 5 or 6 servers, then commandeer my wife's PC and throw on 3 to 5 more. The kids have an AMD Phenom II x6 1100T unit I put together from what USED to be inside of this box before I rebuilt. They've got hidden VM's on their box as well, if I want to simulate 3 separate sites, I can.

Next up is this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6822107064

And 4 of these in RAID 5 for 9TB's of centralized storage: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6822236344

And yeah, I do play games on this quite a bit. Lots of emulation, and everything modern out there. Going to install Dead Space 3 next.
