Baumgartner's jump is done.
How awesome was that? If he did hit mach 1, that's going to be great news for science.

RE: Baumgartner's jump is done.
It went well, he didn't remain in free fall as long as the last record holder by seconds or so, but the height was there and he might have made mach 1. He also stuck the landing.
I wonder if they planned on the visor being able to fog up or not. It did. -summum ius, summa iniuria.-M. T. Cicero -I will show you fear in a handful of dust.-T.S. Eliot -ἡ φύσις οὐδὲν ποιεῖ ἅλματα |

Awesome! Sucks for his experience about the visor.

RE: Baumgartner's jump is done.
Looks like RedBull caught some shit from the people for having pulled it. It's back up now. Dude's in an outta control crazy ass spin at one point but recovers nicely. And I don't think he needs no RedBull, crazy fucking Austrian.
![]() Old dude watching and narrating it was the current record holder and adviser to Baumgartner, retired USAF Colonel Joseph Kittinger. ... Just fucking awesome. ![]()
