Sweet mother of god! No one can honestly be that stupid, right? This must be one huge joke, RIGHT?

If not, I really don't understand how we've managed to survive as a species for so long... and even to advance somewhat.

I truly don't know whether to laugh, cry or throw up and try to bleach my brain. It's a miracle the internet hasn't imploded on itself from such a concentration of idiocy, bigotry and hatred.

Silly Vera, all that just makes the internet GROW. More idiocy, bigotry, and hatred = more flame wars = more participation = more internet. Let THAT make you feel all itchy and dirty inside next time you log on.

Naw! From such a peaceful, loving bunch as Xians? No way! After all, the "emphasis on love is what sets Christianity far above every other religion because love is the central reality of human life. Christianity sees the basis of reality as love: the love that constitutes the Undivided Unity of the Divine Trinity pours itself out in creating the cosmos, and then reveals itself in Jesus' redemptive incarnation and sacrifice on the cross."

And yada, yada, yada... I guess if they haven't managed to destroy the world in the 2000 years they've been polluting the earth with their "love", the Internet is more or less safe...

And you'd think that with me translating porn for a living, few things would be able to make me feel dirty... but 5 minutes on that forum made me yearn for a mental enema...

I'm just amazed that their 'temporary ban' on Atheism and Evolution threads has been in effect over 3 years. If you can't free yourself to think, what the point in talking to them at at? Might as well just go yell at a brick wall...

Wow... I mean... I lived in a catholic country, eh.. I was sort of catholic on paper, and I believed and knew a little bit and all, but this is blowing my mind. But honestly, this site MUST be a satire, this can't possibly be real, can it???

So I paid our friends here a little visit. They seriously belong in the looney bin.
But, interesting, they are talking about schism from Rome, (which is what I thought might happen, increasingly, when the present pope said he wasn't going to judge people.).

I looked up their forum rules recently and found this gem:

"Non-Catholics:
1) Error has no rights. As such, anti-Catholic viewpoints are not permitted to be posted here.
2) Do not attempt to sway traditional Catholics away from the Faith."

Wow. Blink

Somehow, I'm doubtful of them banning people if the disagree with the new pope's views on economics and the poor...

I went over to Catholic Answers to see what they were saying about the Pope.
It's always good for a laugh, over there, (but only do it with a friend around, who can hold your hands down, so you don't injure yourself with facepalms).
I didn't even get as far as looking for what I went there for. I got distracted by :

"Do animals have souls ?". Read her answer. ROTFLMAO. Material souls. Alrighty then.
Then see "Is it a mortal sin to kill a spider ?" Tongue
