Beauty
What is beautiful to you? It's in the eye of the beholder and these are things I behold as beautiful.

The muscles of the male back.

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

Such I find if not beautiful then worth seeing at least:

The first revolt is against the supreme tyranny of theology, of the phantom of God. As long as we have a master in heaven, we will be slaves on earth.

If we came from dust, then why is there still dust?

A full bottle of wine, and an empty glass. You know what comes next.

That's beeeeeautiful. The first photo almost looks like a stained glass window. If it's not it should be.

I also find the Bristlecone Pine tree, one of the oldest trees on earth, absolutely beautiful.

The 1950's Italian actress, Anna Magnani's trademark eyebags were oddly beautiful. It made her face magnificent.

The prose of H. P. Lovecraft. The excerpt below is from the ending of his short story "Celephaïs".

And Kuranes reigned thereafter over Ooth-Nargai and all the neighbouring regions of dream, and held his court alternately in Celephaïs and in the cloud-fashioned Serannian. He reigns there still, and will reign happily forever, though below the cliffs at Innsmouth the channel tides played mockingly with the body of a tramp who had stumbled through the half-deserted village at dawn; played mockingly, and cast it upon the rocks by ivy-covered Trevor Towers, where a notably fat and especially offensive millionaire brewer enjoys the purchased atmosphere of extinct nobility.

"Owl," said Rabbit shortly, "you and I have brains. The others have fluff. If there is any thinking to be done in this Forest - and when I say thinking I mean thinking - you and I must do it."
- A. A. Milne, The House at Pooh Corner

RE: Beauty
Relatively anything really. At almost any point.

I've had conversations and talks that bother or sadden me about other people because of this type of topic.

Like to me even just a dull gray, not raining but gray cloudy day sky is beautiful. The contrast and flow of those grayness clouds and fluff of whatever is below you're seeing has a magnificence just as a clear great landscape view of cascading mountains. It's a different beautiful image but it's there.

But people's responses like, oh it's raining or it's ugly out and I can't wait for the sun to come out always make me ponder how others see beauty or what they see in contrast to me.

"Allow there to be a spectrum in all that you see" - Neil Degrasse Tyson
