It couldn't be further from omni. It's not been demonstrated to have done a single thing, ever. Even Jesus "the man" is becoming increasingly suspect, and quite probably a literary creation.

I have a website here which discusses the issues and terminology surrounding religion and atheism. It's hopefully user friendly to all.

It is just a metaphor. He didn't need to rest.

He was just pretending to look for him -- to shame Adam and drive home his first guilt feelings so he would understand what a Bad Boy he had been.

Well, er, all humans were evil and had it coming.

Post-hoc'd and rationalized as in the above examples. It's really what I call a funhouse hall of mirrors. As the Cheshire Cat said, everything means just what I say it means, not more and not less.

Dealing with apologists is like repeatedly shaking up a magic 8-ball filled with ignorant, fallacious sound bytes.

Y'all think this guy will be back, or did he max out on Jesus points here and go forth to conquer the next internet den of iniquity?
