I think a vacancy on the Supreme Court will engender record Democrat turnout in the general.

My hope (and I realise that my hope means nothing in the grand scheme of things) is that the younger generation is shaken up by this really weird election cycle and inspired to vote. I don't see a lot of the "youth" vote going to Trump, considering the pew polls on their group.

I wish robots would hurry up and take over the world. Then at least we'd have consistency and logic going for us.

Actually, I like how The Animatrix handled that question. The robots were logical and tried to get along with humans... but we were, well, humans:

Part 2 is even better, but I can't find the whole thing in one video (the posters had both videos broken up into parts, presumably to circumvent the copyright laws), so you'll have to YouTube it, yourself.

Here's a playlist of the three videos that make up Part II. It's really worth watching the whole thing. I found it amazing that the animators did a better job than the Hollywood filmmakers; this should have been part of the regular movie trilogy.

You needn't worry. He won't get most of the women, he'll be drubbed fighting for any minorities, and he'll lose at least three and perhaps four of the five richest EC states.

Polarizing figures in American politics stir discussion, not change. He's Pat Buchanan with more money.

Anyone who remembers the 90s remembers how much vitriol was slung at Hillary, even when she was just the First Lady.

Conservatives have 24 years of talking about how much they all loathe her under their belts. I think a Hillary win most definitely guarantees big turnouts to vote against her.

On the other hand, since Bernie has openly stated that he's in favor of European-style socialism, and most of those same hyper-conservative voters have been conditioned by 65 years of anti-commie rhetoric to react viscerally to the very mention of the word socialist, it may do the same if Sanders wins the nomination.

On the other hand, a Trump nomination will bring out everyone and their grandmother in the Democrat Party. I'm a right-of-center centrist who detests Clinton, but given the option, she'd get my vote every day of the week and twice on Sundays against a lizard such as Trump.

I love it when cocksure talking heads like you get taken down a notch by Trump. He's been doing it since June and you'll soon be eating your own words as well.

NOTE: Member, Tomasia uses this site to slander other individuals. He then later proclaims it a joke, but not in public.
I will call him a liar and a dog here and now.
