Oh just send him any old garbage, he’ll believe anything… Tongue

RE: Best book for a Christian from an Atheist
My suggestion is "Letter to a Christian Nation" by Sam Harris. It's written specifically for Christians that believe in a literal interpretation of the bible (because he'd already destroyed the nonliteral position in "An End of Faith"). I have the audio book, and it's only 2 hours long... I imagine the actual book isn't very long, either.

I gave this one to my parents (in exchange for the very weak "I Don't Have Enough Faith To Be An Atheist" by Norman Geister/Frank Turek) and they absolutely hated it. But the only argument they could muster was that they were offended by the "tone". And I thought it had a very reasonable tone, but that's the kind of rebuttal you muster when you're scraping the bottom of the barrel, so I'd say it was a hit.

My girlfriend is mad at me. Perhaps I shouldn't have tried cooking a stick in her non-stick pan.
