Bible Golden Ratio "Code"
According to this guy, the Bible has been composed by God using what he calls the UCCOO, some kind of pattern related to the Fibonacci sequence.

To those of you better than me at math, is there anything actually significant about this, or is it (far more likely), a terrible butchering of a mathematical concept that means nothing?

It's a terrible butchering of a mathematical concept that means nothing.

So the authors sacrificed comprehension, meaning and consistency of the text in order to make a pointless mathematical pattern which nobody would understand until centuries later? Great idea.

Seriously, the claim is always the same: It's complex, therefore God did it. Yawn.

Look at what the Egyptians built 4,500 years ago:

With a height of 146 meters, it was definitely taller than any tower of Babel, real or not. And it's still standing.

Nice! The Egyptian pyramids and assorted Egyptian detritus certainly stand today as refutation of the Bible myth that a race of Hebrew slaves was laboring to build brick edifices in Egypt. Good work, soldier!

I recommend that you first familiarize yourself with this:

1. The Bible doesn't day the Hebrews built the pyramids.

2. They didn't.

Of course! They were quite clearly built by extra-terrestrials to establish their dominance over the Egyptian people! I can count on your support for my grassroots movement to get this approved by local school boards and inserted into history classrooms as fact, right PJ? I mean, if there's anyone here who doesn't need evidence to support an assertion, it's you. Thumbsup

Ahem, "this guy" is absolutely right. I should know, because I'm "this guy" Smile

What is it that you don't understand, and I'll try to answer it?
