Bible classes in public elementary
Rowan County, NC, about an hour from me, once again on the bandwagon.

this isnt their first rodeo, last year FFRF was going after their county meetings holding prayers.

RE: Bible classes in public elementary
I was taken off campus in somewhere around 1-3 grade or so, put on a "church bus" and given bible lessons against my will.

I didn't know any better back then, So I thought it was fun at the time. But, mandatory graded classes IN school?! Wtf kind of bull shit is this? Did they really think they can get away with this sort of thing?

Well, she supported it until she discovered that -- GASP! -- state money could go to Muslim schools.

Was she ever SURPRISED!

I attended public schools from kindergarten through the fifth grade.

Against my will, I was forced to go to Cathechism classes on Saturday mornings while my other friends got to stay home in their jammies, eating cereal, and watching cartoons.

I was robbed I tell ya, robbed!

See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF

Just shows the shallowness of their thinking. Are they even capable of thinking things through?

I haven't heard a description of a Saturday morning like that outside of the context of the '50s-'60s in a very long while...
