And then Ham stood up and said 'god helped' and all the jesus freak morons breathed a sigh of relief.

They are easily swayed by bullshitters.

I didn't see that movie of it that came out earlier this year... I wonder if they put a "based on a true story" line during it's opening.

What explanation do "Noah's Ark" believers give for the dinosaurs being on the Ark? Were they extinct already according to them?

EDIT...found it in Answers in Genesis. Apparently Yes, Dinosaurs (just the small ones) were on the Ark. When I searched the link on the Feasability of Noah taking care of all these creatures, it is somehow missing.

Yabut...

Were you there to prove he wasn't there?

RE: Bill Nye destroys the biblical and ken ham's ark story
So many random thoughts spring to mind.

I think in some regards Ham is doing all a favor by trying to defend the indefensible, thinking folks that have been indoctrinated as children will now question not just the story of Noah but the entire Bibble and that is great.

There will be people like my MIL who will simply put their hands over their ears and go blah blah blah

Others will listen to Nye's points and think that while they make sense God circumvented the whole thing by snapping His fingers together and transported the Kangaroos by will alone. And not just the Kangaroos but every other point Nye makes can me magically refuted, or should I say refuted by magic.

I hold that it is indisputable that people will believe what they want to believe. Every now and then we (TTA) have a discussion whether or not people choose to believe. Imo anyone with half a brain who listens to what Nye just explained and STILL says they believe has compartamentalized and separated fantasy from reality so that they coexist, in essence they have chosen to believe.

That's what I believe Big Grin
