But First some Questions

Why did a good man go to prison because of this little piece of paper, that only cost $10.00?

Was this worth over 2 million dollars of private money and 2 plus more million in public money to keep secret?

Why was this made two days ago and yesterday Hawaii said they do not release these any more?

A natural born citizen is a person born with unalienable and undivided allegiance to the United States of America. And this is something the current occupant of the Oval Office never had.

I like how they start arguing from both side, rejecting it as legit and saying that being born in a country doesn't make one a natural born citizen. Because as we all know, unless you are born in Republican Town, you're not a true American.

Well, racists will cloak themselves in the most stupid disguises in order to hide from their responsibility of spewing racist trash using the disguise as a cover. Just look at how successful the KKK has been. And when one ask's any member of that bunch of dunce cap clowns why they cover their face in rallies, they say because it's they who don't want to be discriminated against at work, in public, for their views! Um, yeah.

Same here. Racists, wearing the cloak of the Republic. Claiming they're simply saving the nation from a man who's (black) not a natural born citizen. Who's (black) not really a Christian, who's (black) not a real American. Who's (black) not really a Democrat but a Socialist. Who's (black) anti-American. Who's (black) wife isn't even a patriot when she said, after her husband was elected to office, that for the first time she's proud of her country.

I have to say I feared for Obama from the start. Especially when armed people were able to gain access into some of his public meetings early on, which would have never happened during Bush43 or Clinton. And wherein the press coverage detailing it all, especially the idiot packing a gun and wearing a shirt spouting the old Jefferson quote about refreshing the tree of liberty with the blood of Patriots. Not just reporting it seemed, but almost like a herald to inspire others of like mind through the reporting of the attempts and failures of the first few. Because of all the news outlets that broke the stories, those that are GOP bias appeared to be the one's that beat the story to death.

So when 2012 comes, if Obama does win a second term, the most extreme birthers, and far right conservatives are going to be well aware no matter what they have four more years ahead, to endure the man they didn't even respect , for all these same (lack of) reason(s), when he was on the campaign trail competing for the office.

That image of the Birth Certificate Obama let to be released now is what was pictured long ago in hopes of settling this. Of course it can't, because how then would the GOP hope to compete against him based on all those (black) causes to oust him from office, come November 2012?

There is pretty much no way this is going to completely shut this down. People who really, really believe this are already convinced that there is a conspiracy involving the government of Hawaii. This isn't going to change their minds.

Personally, I think this was a political mistake by Obama as there was more usefulness to be milked from it.

Sure.

People focusing on stupidity like "where was he born" are less likely to be paying attention to actual issues. Republican candidates who question this or who give half-witted responses to questions about this are just making themselves look like fanatics who will basically alienate the overwhelming number of Americans who are moderates and are not portrayed in the news because they have no time for this shit. By taking if off the table this way, he's basically taken away one of the beacons by which we can easily identify the real morons in the Presidential race. He was much better off just letting these idiot birthers flail around on the issue. at least in my opinion. Another problem I see was his comments that this was becoming a "distraction". A distraction to whom? Glory hounds like Donald Trump and anyone dumb enough to take him as anything but a showman? Serious people with serious concerns about our serious problems were not giving this crap a second though. Claiming it was a "distraction" to the job of governing and making tough decisions is a real concern and I think made him look weak.

I'm not a fan of Obama at all, but I at least thought he was smarter than this.
