Yeah. Exactly. I found that really cool.
It was an old detective movie like the ones that used to star Humphrey Bogart set in the future scifi setting. Complete with the narrative voice and everything.
Mike Hammer and Sam Spade and Philip Marlowe.
Pulp detectives. I thought it was a really cool idea out of the gate.
Harrison Ford nearly did a Humphrey Bogart impression in the narration.
A lot of people didn't seem to appreciate that vibe.
I thought it was a brilliant idea.

As someone who's never watched the original, only the last few scenes, I have a question.

Which version do you think is the best version to watch? Or is this a question for a new thread?
