Except for the people who work at the front desk, so they can seem busy.

True story.

Only your post in this thread didn't make me feel surprised. Did these places block TTA purely for religious reason? Is it legal, or do they have the freedom to do that?

Edit: oh, 'at work' ... this can excuse a lot of things.

Can't speak for KC, but my husband's work decided having access to the internet limited productivity...the main issue was probably facebook or some other crap like that...but they blocked everything. Husband works in a hospital.

That said the CT scanner MUST have web access so he can use that. But the regular computers no...Except for the front desk computers because...well they want them to appear busy even if they're not (their job is to greet outpatients but at night there isn't many after 10PM).

Pro tip... Try changing the HTTP to HTTPS and see if that works. Wink

It won't work for everything, but it does for Facebook and quite a few sites.

I can hardly get on anything here at school.
music sites, gaming sites, shopping sites, etc but it astonishes me that TTA has not been blocked.

It makes me very happy.
