I mean yes I know they have to burn it and everything but after that I'm just confused. Does God need to eat it or something? Is it fueling his omniscience? And does he ever truly specifically explain why seafood pork and plants are all bad sacrifices?
the point is constantly to remind house of Israel that God will sacrifice His Son.

RE: Blood
Many ancient cultures practiced animal sacrifice. In most cases only a portion of the animal was burned, the rest was roasted and became part of the post-sacrifice feast. The deity was supposed to be pleased with the smell of the roasting animal. Note that even today many churches enjoy a post-service pot luck.

Jehovahs and Muslims still think its magic juice and forbid its consumption, lest you get taken over by the spirit of the blood owner. but at least the Muslims allow transfusion.

The Jehovah's Witnesses won't even allow consumption or transfusion of your own blood...
