Blue for Avatar? Why not kill yourself?
This news story is over 2 years old, but I never realized people were this dumb. Apparently a lot of people went to watch James Cameron’s film Avatar, then became depressed to the point of suicide because Pandora doesn’t exist. While the AP writer is pretty sympathetic toward the plight of these depressed Avatar fans, I’m not. If you’re so depressed that you feel like killing yourself because Pandora and the Na’Vi were so much more perfect than the shitty little world you live in, you should kill yourself. YOU ARE THE REAL THING! The Na’Vi and Pandora are fake. They don’t exist. Never did. If you can’t understand that, can’t enjoy the beautiful planet you live on along with the wonders that science and technology provide you (one, of which is that goddamn movie), and all you want is escapist Consider fantasies, then, by all means, please do snuff yourself out.

I haven't watched Avatar yet. Is it a story about giant blue Smurfs or something?

Avatar was the single most overrated film of all time.

Graphics were good but it didn't have much else going for it.

That was a pretty bad movie.

I'm personally more sad that the world of Star Trek doesn't exist. Sad

Pocahontas
What is the other one, Fern Gully?
Then Avatar

Edit1 - Point is: It wasn't an original story in the slightest.
Edit2 - I liked Aliens, which James Cameron directed. Didn't much like Avatar... it was good, but not as good as it was hyped to be. It was a fun action flick.

It might be easier to list the things you can't be turned on by. Wink
