Unfortunately, she is running against Fuckface von Clownstick so it's still a contest. And, i think she's likely to win. This hurts her certainly, but her opponent is the World's Biggest Asshole. And, her campaign slogan basically comes down to "I'm not Fuckface von Clownstick". That may just be a winning slogan, too. I think it really depends if FvC can control himself the next 5 months and all indications are that he can not. Maybe if there is an actual ISIS attack in the US that they planned and executed instead of just taking credit for things change. But, otherwise, I think she wins.

i hope you're right. But what happens if the republicans change the game by officially nominating someone else?
Well I think everytime one of the two parties have had a convention bickering like that they lost elections handedly.

Depends who it is and the circumstances I guess. I think anyone but Trump or Cruz crushes her under normal circumstances. Screwing Trump at the convention will piss a lot of people off and they may still go down in flames.

Going to be an interesting 4+ months.

From the FBI directors own mouth: "110 emails, from 52 email chains...contained classified information at the time they were sent."

She lied. End of story.

The emails were stored in her inbox and sent box on her private email server, which was then hacked by civilian and foreign government hackers.

She should not be president. She should be prosecuted.

Edit to add: 8 of them contained TOP SECRET information.

Wtf.

Forget prosecution, no criminal evidence was found as there was no intent to disseminate. The Director did say, and I would agree with him, that another person (read “not running for POTUS”) would lose their security clearance.

That would be interesting. The former Secreatry of State loses her security clearance effectively eliminating her from holding the office of the President. Consider

Won’t happen but interesting to ponder.

this was something I was just thinking about....what about the staffers or others who shared information with her knowing it was classified or top secret (according to the FBI they knew what was sensitive, classified and top secret). Did they just assume she had approval to do business this way...or while the fallout doesn't really hurt her, are they too insulated? Or will people under her lose their security clearance and possibly their jobs?

Looking towards the 2020 election this lapse will cost her being a 2 term prez, that is unless the GOP once again fails to give the electorate a reasonable option.

rea·son·a·ble
ˈrēz(ə)nəb(ə)l/
adjective
1. (of a person) having sound judgment; fair and sensible.

antonym
Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Ben Carson, Chris Christie, Carly Fiorina, Rick Santorum, Mike Huckabee, John Kasich, Bobby Jindal

What the GOP needs to find in their ranks is someone who doesn’t want to be president, THAT’s the person they need to pick to carry the torch (kicking and screaming the whole way to the White House).

Here is a list of those that refused to run so they already have a leg up in my book. The bolded names are people I would consider voting for.

Good questions all. Someone will be drawn and quartered so that the DoJ can say they did something.
