I still don't understand why anyone would want to vote for someone like this:

Suppose Clinton had shot Bill in the head in front of the press. If the police investigators went on the recommend no prosecution...that she was just being negligent, it would really look like she was being protected.

Hillary, looks like she is getting a pass for violating laws other people have been prosecuted for.....so it looks like she is protected.

According to the press conference there is no precedent for this and that was why the FBI recommended no indictment.

If you know something different, then please present your evidence that the FBI doesn't know about. Drinking Beverage

That's seems pretty bold, and suggests that he is going to fix it.

How does he fix it - appoint and confirm honest people???

The thief is the first to accuse another of stealing. Considering how he has worked the system, via bankruptcy, he's the last sonofabitch I'd trust to make things better for me.

The election is next. She has nothing hanging over head now.

Now people have to make a choice. Will her negligence sway the independent vote to Trump?

I've voted for democrats before (Obama the first time and local elections). But no way could I vote for someone that allowed hackers easy access to government secrets.

Her judgement is too poor to be president.

What would you say about the judgement of a man who tells a lie one day and backtracks the next? What would you say about the judgement of a man who visits bankruptcy courts as if they were his Sunday sermons? What would you say about the judgement of a man running on a plank promising a confrontation with China over the South China Sea?

Yeah, I'm thinking your filters probably need a little calibration.

Get ready for another two year House investigation. Paul Ryan says the FBI has questions to answer how they can list off so many violations by Hillary then recommend no charges. He says he'll have a subpoena for James Comey.

Trump has owned over 500 businesses, and people always have to bring up the 5 businesses that went under.

Those five bankruptcies were all casino/hotel related. Casino businesses are constantly going bankrupt. Even Caesar's casinos are going through problems right now. It's a risky business period.

Nothing Trump has done will ever equal what Hillary Clinton did. Jeopardizing national security Trump did not.

This happens all the time on the ground level of law enforcement. The cop on the street very often writes his report in this or that manner precisely because he knows that in this or that case, he can or cannot provide damning evidence. They may not say it in so many words, but the influence an investigator has on the decision to prosecute is large.

The prosecutors make that call based on the evidence forwarded. So far as I know, there could still be a prosecution of Clinton, if Lynch decides to ignore the recommendation and go ahead with it, right? It's a recommendation and not a diktat, right?

But a prosecutor doesn't want to waste money or time on a case where the investigating body (which in this case has lawyers on payroll) says, in essence that they don't know, especially when the decision to prosecute has the appearance of meddling in Presidential election.

A recomendation is not a decision.

I agree that it is a disservice to us, the public, though. A matter like this should be settled publicly, given the stakes.

You conveniently left out Trump University. It was a scam. He's being tried for the fraud in CA. Then the NY Attorney General said he may do the the same. There are thousands of "little people" who were bilked out of thousands of dollars. She never attempted to bilk people out of thousands of dollars each.

Insufferable know-it-all.Einstein God has a plan for us. Please stop screwing it up with your prayers.

It's not how many went under -- it's how he went about it.

As for "national security", Trump hasn't had the oppourtunity to go bankrupt there ... yet. The man has shown he's willing to screw broad swathes of people over for money, yet you're willing to give him the chance to screw us all over for the same?

It's not about "risky business". It's about his integrity, and in his own field, he's shown himself willing to go as low as Clinton. Yet you favor him, why?
