I'm not dead yet!

Excuse me, I'm making perfect sense. You're just not keeping up.

I believe it was U.P so us Lower folks should be fine.

Well that sucks... ebola killed just about everybody and now the plague will take out the few remaining survivors... oh wait, that didn't happen.

From Wikipedia:

Quote:Because the plague killed so many of the working population, wages rose due to the demand for labor. Some historians see this as a turning point in European economic development.

Because I'm nuts, I find this amusing.

The decimation of Europe by the plague is what lead to the development of technology. Before that there were too many hands around needing work afterwards you needed to maximise everyone's capability. Without the need for replacement labor I doubt the world would be in the position it is today, for better or worse.

Seems as if somebody is always getting the plague here in Colorado but it comes from the prairie dog towns. Larimer County and Pueblo County have a couple jillion prairie dogs and they really need to be thinned out.

There was also an outbreak in Yosemite over the summer.

This is why I'm afraid of squirrels. Tongue
