Or a silly myth made derived from the Epic of Gilgamesh because ancient Jewish priests weren't very original when they constructed their myths....

The complete lack of flood damage on the pyramids as well as the written records of the Sumerians and Egyptians debunk any flood of such scope. Not even a regional flood is plausible. Please note that you don't buy into a world wide flood myth because it's too much myth for you to swallow.
