Bugs on Logs? WTF?
Sorry, I just have to vent this one. According to my roommate, Noah didn't take insects onto the Ark. They survived in floating logs that were debris from the flood.

...

Can I strangle him?

Here, I will give you my "Stuuupid theist" rope.

Everybody should have them.

RE: Bugs on Logs? WTF?
You could ask him what the bugs ate... especially since if there were logs, then the birds could sit on them as well, and they'd eat the bugs...

But then why would sending out a bird be of use? God manipulated the bird to return to let him know it was safe (or was it not return to let him know--I'm a bit drunk now, can't recall). The bird would've just left, landed on a log, ate and then done it's own thing.

Does the number of "u" symbolize how long the rope is?

Wait.... but if the bugs were on logs.... and birds could be on logs.... then why couldn't humans also be on logs and make a log-boat on the fly? it's not like it was "land->flood" just "land->rain until flood" so they could've built rafts.... then they could've eaten the birds and bugs to live.

RE: Bugs on Logs? WTF?
A bug on the log and the log on the ark and the ark on the water and the world in which this all occurred in the mind of some bronze-age man who did not know the sun was bigger than the moon, the distances for either the sun or the moon, the speed of light, that plants were alive, the earth was round, and that god doesn't exist.

I would say to just let the bugs go. Sometimes the best cure for stupidity is for them to spout it from their own mouth and realize how ignorant it sounds. Hope that happens here.

Don't ever lose faith in humanity! Atheism is on the climb. Smile

I wonder how Noah delt with the wood-consuming insects either way. Consider
