Hug Sorry Tarty, kitties are only here to love us for a short while, because their species has attained perfection.

Deepest condolences, Chas. I have a 20-year old kitty, and I know I'll be joining the ranks soon.

We have enough youth. How about looking for the Fountain of Smart?

I shit you not! Im at an IRTS house in St. Paul. We had the coolest cat. I heard this morning it died and was buried. It may have happened the same day yours died. I'll find out. I hope it's just a rumor but that was the word this morning from another resident here Sad

Thanks, all. Smile

She was probably 18 or so. She was rescued maybe 14 or 15 years ago and was probably 2 to 4 at the time.

It took a couple of years to socialize her. She was affectionate but skittish.

RE: Buried a cat this evening ...
Aw sounds just like my little kitty. He was just about completely feral when I decided I wanted to give him a home. It took a few weeks and a lot of patience to get him to trust us, but once he did he became very affectionate with us. Still haven't been able to get him to be ok with having other people anywhere near our house though. He's still a pretty skittish kitty, always on alert.

I hope that the world turns, and things get better. But what I hope most of all is that you understand what I mean when I tell you that, even though I do not know you, and even though I may never meet you, laugh with you, cry with you, or kiss you, I love you. With all my heart, I love you. - V for Vendetta
