has anyone seen this page? im sure most probably have. last night i was just googling things related to atheism and this page came up. they have some very interesting ways at explaining things. especially atheists..
"They can’t find God because first of all, they aren’t looking, and second they want to avoid Him. If you don’t believe me, do a test. Find an atheist chat room on the Net and offer any evidence for God you can think of. Then sit back and count the milliseconds before that evidence is attacked. You’ll notice that the longer you defend your evidence, the more fervent will be the attacks on it and, inevitably, on you. Be prepared for some mockery and ridicule. You’ll be told that you’re stupid, an idiot and that you believe in mythology. They’ve got it all figured out but don’t worry. Their insults are just a bunch of words. Anyway, atheists make it impossible to prove God exists when they have their eyes closed, their fingers in their ears, and they’re calling you names"

The basic idea here is to set up a stupid standard for what is reasonable, and to a priori reject any criticisms, before they're even made! It's actually pretty easy. Lets give it a go:

"They can’t find leprechauns because first of all, they aren’t looking, and second they want to avoid them. If you don’t believe me, do a test. Find an aleprechaunist chat room on the Net and offer any evidence for leprechauns you can think of. Anyway, aleprechaunists make it impossible to prove leprechauns exists when they have their eyes closed, their fingers in their ears, and they’re calling you names"

See? Super easy. That's the beauty about not only believing nonfalsifiable things, but believing that not believing them is a character flaw.

Listening to him "debate" is fascinating because he isn't stupid but you can see him simply refusing to process any statement that doesn't fit his worldview. He turns wilfull ignorance into an art form.

Below is a link to two discussions between Matt Slick of CARM and hosts from The Atheist Experience. It's one file, but two discussions:

Part 1 - Matt Slick calls in and talks to Russel Glazer and co-host.
Part 2 - Matt Slick calls in and talks to Matt Dillahunty and co-host.

Matt Dillahunty & TAE hosts discussion w/Matt Slick

The topic of both parts is TAG (the Transcendental Argument for God).

It's the one Sye was whining about in his debate with Matt Dillahunty.
