Yeah, I think that's how it works here, too. Both of our cats were rescues. We had another who we got as a stray, who had been owned in the past.

Ours are Petco veterans, and rescues.

It's was nice, especially in the winter.

My family had three outside cats that were only let inside on the coldest of winter nights. They would spend that time in my room. I remember one night waking up with two cuddled on other side of my head and one sleeping on my chest. It is one of my fondest childhood memories.
