CNN - Finding Jesus
Anyone think this will be worth watching?

“Truth does not demand belief. Scientists do not join hands every Sunday, singing, yes, gravity is real! I will have faith! I will be strong! I believe in my heart that what goes up, up, up, must come down, down, down. Amen! If they did, we would think they were pretty insecure about it.”

Link worked for me. I'd watch it just to see if they say something we haven't already seen or read about.

I saw the Shroud of Turin in the promo and figured right off the bat it will be dogshit.

I suppose I'll watch it to make sure.

Hopefully that was just an example of a fake that people thought was real and through science, disproved it. Wishful thinking on my part Wink

Must be getting close to Easter. They trot these lame show out at Christmas and Easter every year. Every year, I tell you.

Yawn.

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

Same here. I saw it on when I was at lunch and saw the heading of something to the effect of "does the shroud prove Jesus?".

My first thought was "What the fuck? That was debunked a long time ago!" followed immediately by "If they're framing that as a question worth asking, the show is not worth watching.".

It was about what I expected for CNN. They aren't going to rock the boat too much.

They did mention the C14 testing which clinched the medieval dating but they gave it fairly short-shrift and then went back to give the morons something else to hang their hats on.

They ignored a lot of stuff...such as the back image being two inches taller than the front image...which would be quite a miracle!

Anyway, I can hardly wait for next week when they try to see if an old bone belonged to john the baptist. Maybe its his pecker?
