Head on over to Somalia (a presumed anarchy) and see about taking someone's home from them. Tongue

But seriously, I don't dispute that property rights are a concept that must be collectively agreed upon by society. All rights are concepts, so they have to be agreed upon by humans lest they wouldn't exist. We are born with thumbs, but not rights. However, material property rights are derived from natural property rights and there is no need of a state to make it so. In fact, were it not for the state, I would actually own my home. As it is, I merely own the "right" to control its use. And, the state is the only entity that can take my home without just claim to it.

I'm guessing you are referring to Eminent Domain with your last statement. If thats the case this is one area where we do agree as I have never been a fan of the use. Especially with how uneven the application is, the poor get no say and minimum market value on any land they may have where as a person powerful enough can simply make a few phone calls and the government backs down.

So Amtrack is wanting to know if they can add us to major causes of derailment in north america Jefe. Tongue How long have we been having this debate in a thread neither one of us really has any business in (what with it being about a petition in a country neither of us hold citizenship in) I realised that as I was about to just begin the entire thing over again when you mentioned taxes. Laughat

Hell no. Amtrak is a socialist company and I'll have no part of it!

Seriously, I'm an anarchist in a sea of statists. Where the hell else am I gonna have a conversation if it isn't in a thread I have no business in? Dodgy

But I digress. I suppose we should leave this thread alone and go our separate ways.

Just remember... one of these days, you'll be cavorting in some seemingly innocuous thread and all of a sudden out from behind the scrub, out I'll pop again. Armed with a quiver full of arguments from morality and wearing nothing but a pink banana hammock and worn out pair of flip flops.

Cool

I've got 2 tulpas, Taunav and Eris. If you don't know what a tulpa is, read this.
http://community.tulpa.info/thread-kiahd...-to-tulpas
If Taunav has anything to say, he'll be speaking in []
If Eris has anything to say, she'll be speaking in {}
If you think I'm insane, I don't care
