Can Atheists (or anyone who is not a "Christian") be "Saved"
What is "salvation" ? Can I be a complete asshole and still go to heaven ? Can I be the nicest person you know and still go to hell ? Are Buddhists allowed in "Eternity" ? Hindu ? Muslim ? Atheist ? Or is it a Jesus only club ?

Has anyone ever made it into heaven? How do we know?

We don't. So we shouldn't make any judgment regarding heaven. I see no evidence for or against it. All I see is what we know.

So how can we resolve the question of "what are the requirements for getting into heaven?" if we don't know:
1. if heaven exists
2. where heaven is
3. if anyone has ever gone to heaven
4. who is the gatekeeper with regards to the entrance to heaven

Why would an atheist or a non-christian care?

It's a discussion Pablo. I want to know. Knowledge is my (everyone's) friend.

How do you attain knowledge on this topic?
All you will get is unsubstantiated opinions (beliefs) or speculation.

Peter is the gatekeeper, or so I've heard. But he's not so hung up on the "Jesus Card" that he won't let anyone else in. Then again it may be all a bunch of bullhockey.
