No no, it was just a word of warning that we have very low standards for our humor.
It's like we're all children. With low low IQ's. And a fascination with genitals and poop.

Hiya. Welcome to the forum.
Out of curiosity, I am interested in knowing the difference between the cultural aspects and the superstitions, as most of the cultural aspects are based on stories that are most likely not even true.
We have something similar with cultural catholicism, which is really just thinly veiled nationalism.

Cultural is the music, the art and the literature and of course the food. The superstition / belif stuff is the bible, the talmud etc

[font="Verdana"]My wife's daughter and her husband are
missionaries currently based in England. For the life of me I cannot see the
point as we have enough problems here with inept politicians and moronic
clergy.

[font="Verdana"]They are visiting us later this month, I
really must try and find out exactly what it is they believe.

Hmm, then I am a Catholic Atheist by your definition.

It still sounds odd. I don't like it. I don't want to be a catholic atheist Sad

To many it is a matter of culture/heritage.

To the name of the topic.. you answered your own question, you can introduce yourself. Bravo! Smartass & welcome.

Lol, well-done. Assemblies of God, for those who don't want to visualize this "Ass. Of God".
