Native Americans became masters of horse riding over relatively few generations even though there were no horses in North America to begin with, yes! But there's not going to be a point in being a master of driving a '98 Mustang 35 years from now. (give or take a few years, I know) The skills outdated, and forgotten, the "culture" surrounding it dead except for what's in books, which will at some point become mere trivia. It wouldn't last long enough to effect any change that would "stick", permenantly. The thrill seeking race car drivers will find another activity to meet there need. A need met by whatever technology happens to be there for them to utilize.
