Can you logically explain why there must be meaning?

Because atheists argue that meaning of life exists and according to them atheism is logical

An eternal life does not become meaningless right away. It's only when one has done everything that can be done, discovered everything that can be discovered, learned everything that can be learned - it is at that point that one's life becomes not only meaningless, but utterly incapable of being ascribed meaning to. You've done it all, seen it all. There's nothing more for you. Your life can never have any purpose, because you've done everything.

The truth is absolute. Life forms are specks of specks (...) of specks of dust in the universe.
Why settle for normal, when you can be so much more? Why settle for something, when you can have everything?

They do? From what I can tell, they generally don't. Atheism couldn't have meaning anyway, without an ultimite base for their beliefs.

This is possibly the most fucked up thread I've ever tried to read.

No, not all atheists make that argument.

As for this atheist, I consider the meaning of life to be whatever you make of it. How death gives meaning to life will vary depending on the individual's beliefs. Who's to say it contributes any meaning at all anyway? That seems like a rather bold assumption to assume it does for everyone.

Popcorn

But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.
