RE: Can you name them?
1. Hawking
2. I'm guessing Marie Curie? (no idea what she really looks like) If it's her, I do know who she is.
3.
4. Einstein
5. Freud
6. Ayaan Hirsi Ali
7.
8. Hitchens
9. Sagan
10. Darwin

3 and 7 are awfully familiar and I probably know about them, but I can't identify them by face. However, I have no idea who the broad is. That ought to count for something.

I never knew what Tesla looked like. As for Paine, my excuse is that I'm not American. American History was only briefly taught and I have to say that I did not care too much at the time.

RE: Can you name them?
I knew them all except #6; including Snooki.

Edit: Hitchens doesn't belong with those people.

As an atheist, I beg to differ, As a Christian, if you don't know your enemies it means that you're a mindless sheep. It goes to the purpose of the test. Either way knowing... who? ah yes, Snooki (I needed to scroll) and not knowing Hitchens says enough about who does the thinking for you.

As an atheist, I have to agree that Hitchens doesn't belong in that group. All the rest made huge contributions to science, medicine, politics, and human rights. Hitchens was a great thinker, speaker, and writer, but he doesn't belong with Darwin, Einstein, Freud, Hawking, or Tesla, and I think Hitchens himself would have agreed.

He does as much as Thomas Paine.
