Carton Ideas? ....a la Charlie Hebdo
So...i have a side job that involves me being out from about 2am - 5:30am five nights a week, (no I'm not a male hooker). The time spent out by myself affords me the opportunity to do a lot of thinking, listening to podcasts, etc.

Last night I had an idea for a cartoon and if my artistic roots were in drawing I would doodle it myself but alas I chose to marinate in music instead of "art". The idea for the cartoon drawing went something like this....

Jesus is standing up in heaven next to god (somehow I picture the Darkmatter2525 god)...behind Jesus are all these real hearts laying in a huge pile...like 2 billion or so. Jesus then turns to god and says "now what the fuck am I supposed to do with all these????"

For some reason, maybe given the sparsity of my sleeping patterns of late, I found this fabulously amusing. I would love to see this drawn or fleshed out in a cartoon...Also wondered if you could do a cartoon, what would you do?

A painting rather than a cartoon ----

"The Last Supper" - done redneck....

In the front of the painting - there's a box - I've always assumed it to be the arc of the covenant..... make some changes -- add a CRT bulge - some wires - and a set of rabbit ears --- they're all watching TV....

Ashtrays, cans of Budweiser, Coca-Cola - packs of cigarettes -- and Jesus wearing a John Deere ballcap.....

I can see it in my head.....

....

I'm a double atheist. I don't believe in your god or your politician.

Genius. Thanks for the laugh!

I'll try to keep my lips sealed, no more spouting off.

You just brought back some great memories with that photo. I would take those milk cartons, clean them, then cut out doors and windows and create entire towns where my toy soldiers could fight. Wow, I haven’t thought of that in over 40 years. Thanks Thumbsup

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.
