Catholic Church Investigates Priests Using Grindr
This is pretty funny. Apparently, some seminary students were using Grindr to meet for gay sex. Which is fine in other careers, but frowned on in the priesthood.

Linky

Quote:The Catholic Church in Ireland is investigating claims that trainee priests at one of its seminaries have been using the gay dating app Grindr.

The review follows reports earlier this month that Catholic priests at St Patrick’s College in Maynooth, County Kildare, were using the mobile app.

The Archbishop of Dublin Diarmuid Martin said at the time that the app “fostered promiscuous sexuality” and was not appropriate for priests. Several priests suspected of using the app—which has over 2 million users in 192 countries—were sent by the archbishop to continue their training at the Irish College in Rome.

So you send them to Rome???
Why? So Pope Frankie can keep an eye on them?
So they can conduct a special "papal investigation"?
So they can receive "papal dispensation"?
Is there like a harem of gay priests frolicking around the Vatican?

Quote:Martin told Irish broadcaster RTE that “some material has resulted to be true” but said that an independent investigator would be needed so that people could come forward with “solid, hard evidence.”

"solid, hard evidence"???

Yeah, I bet that's what they were looking for.... Evil_monster

I'm waiting for the Vatican to come out with a proclamation like ---

"The thrust of this probe will be carried out by more experienced Church Hierarchy"

Emphasis on thrust and probe....

Ha, I saw that cunt Archbishop Martin being interviewed on the telly. So funny looking at the shocked expression on his face as he talked about Grindr.

Someone had to say it:

"Theology made no provision for evolution. The biblical authors had missed the most important revelation of all! Could it be that they were not really privy to the thoughts of God?" - E. O. Wilson

I am thrilled that this is consenting people this time instead of children.

Maybe that's why they were sent to Rome, to redirect their desires. Sadcryface
