I hate using the word "literally", but we literally have anoles and geckos swarming all over the place. It's hard to not see one in a day.

Lizards aren't very interesting to him as they are too common. Case in point: he had two pet frogs (green trees frogs I caught), and didn't notice they were gone for over a month (I let them go).

I would rather have a mammal anyway. They can bond a little more than a reptile or an amphibian.

Hamster?

We had guinea pigs when I was a kid. They're OK... Kids don't want much out of a pet anyway, other than stroking it...

Dog or cat? They're nice 'cos they actually like you most of the time. Guinea pigs are fuck dumb and in my experience don't really wanna spend time with kids...

We'll love you just the way you are

No, not really.

I always thought they were super expensive.

We've considered a hamster. QC isn't crazy about rat looking things, though. She's pretty freaked out with the chinchilla and not crazy about g-pigs.

Hedgehogs are the cuddliest but you have to take them for a walk every day. But they hibernate so that cuts down the food bill.

Chinchillas are the fastest (an ex had a very furry one Dodgy ) so that will be best for your target practice.

You can eat the rabbit when it dies. So, there's that.

If I could like this post a 100 times, I would.

I've eaten "tame" rabbit before. Not proud of it. Actually the story is kind of funny. The rabbit was delicious, fyi.

I have 3 mini-lops bunnies. (Don't get just one ... they need company).
They are hilarious, fun and the kids would like them. They stay tiny.

Just texted QC about this. I think you're right.

She wants a dang pig.

We have King... not getting another medium to big animal... just not doing it.

She has been pestering me for a pig for the longest time.
